TUBERCULOSIS TREATMENT
While the incidence of tuberculosis is decreasing overall, there has been an increase in special populations due to increased immigration, drug resistance, and immunosuppressed patients. Learn about prevention, treatment implications, adverse effects from drugs, and drug interactions. Includes implications for patients with HIV, disseminated disease, and patients with systemic diseases. Of special interest are guidelines for pregnant women and nursing women. Includes the most recent demographics, and guidelines for extensively drug-resistant TB. This course is only available online.
