Continuing Education: 30 Contact Hours.

All continuing education requirements may be obtained by Home Study.

Beginning January 1, 2005, all nurses renewing their licenses must have completed a four-hour Bioterrorism course as part of their CE renewal requirement.

800 hours of collaborative practice and a total of 45 hours of nursing-related continuing education in the previous 24 months, current collaborative agreement and must have practiced nursing within the last five years, complete the child support section of the application and answered 5 eligibility questions.

NURSING EDUCATION OF AMERICA^® is Accredited as a Provider of Continuing Education in Nursing by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).

Displaying a license or certificate fraudulently issued subject to disciplinary action for unprofessional conduct. May be issued citation. May be reprimanded, denied license or renewal, fined, have license revoked.
