Continuing Education: 30 Contact Hours
All contact hours may be completed by homestudy
|
APRNs with prescriptive authority (with certification) must complete 20 continuing education contact hours every two years in pharmacotherapeutics. For a NP, CNM, or CNS with controlled substance prescriptive authority, 2 or the 20 must be related to prescribing controlled substances. If the APRN is not writing prescriptions, national certification will suffice. |
